@RefurbishedBelthagor Actually its how we naturally learn to communicate. By being hit a child will try the same act slightly differently until it understands why it got hurt. It only become abusive when there is no reason which results in learned helplessness (gives up trying to end the pain either by ignoring pain or not trying to avoid pain).
However, when a parent can hit it is forced become abusively manipulative in control the child or other adults. This is often mistaken for creativity by outsiders but usually is sign of abuse.

I don't think these are speeches. At least not all of them. Of what I read so far, I'd note that many CEOs are into S&M, because it allows them to relax by not being in charge or responsible. Furthermore CEO have to negotiate with unreasonable people that can be physically stronger. Honestly I prefer being hit to psycho abusive tactics like doping a kid up on Ritilin, Prozac or hormones, or worse genital mutilation by convincing the kid to change genders. The reason being a child understands physical pain but mental abuse a child does not understand.

@grimview
Except that someone being hit is also a psycho abusive tactic. In fact... the reason a child, for a short period of time, can create more creative things than an adult, is because they are free to think, because they have not been assaulted yet.
