Memory of speaking to someone from Germany

Posted by Belthagor - 2 days ago

When I was on my way to Bulgaria many decades ago (I was a teenager) I shared a soup recipe with a person from Germany. The next time I went while I was there for a very short time (because I'd like to spend at least a few days in multiple countries in europe) I noticed on the TV screen that they were mixing tomato soup (which should be made with room temp water, not hot) with plain yogurt and people were watching it. I don't remember if I told him my full name or my first name but it's amazing how far my influence towards making a healthy and delicious meal has spread.

I went on this theory which at first seemed ridiculous to him but started making sense. I can explain the short version of it.

When we make different foods we can look at the ingredients to make other food. People have made pizza. This is bread, tomato sauce, and cheese. Essentially cheese has been a part of milk. Then I told him he could mix plain yogurt into tomato soup. I added that he should never use boiling hot water to make it after reading on the internet that it can make someone sick. I think the world really should put a label on these soup packets. Many people have made a habit. "Almost all soups use hot water I guess I'll just add hot water to this." Then they get sick for a couple of hours. They read about it and may make it normally or never buy it again. A few people make the same mistake years later because they forgot. Anyway he took my advice and spoke with his friends in person. Europe rarely used the internet back then people just spoke in person and it actually appears on TV which in my opinion is crazy, meaning ridiculously stuns you for a moment when walking by and you see it.

So to the German guy whom was a bit taller than me and very able bodied, large. If you're reading this.. now you know.

P.S. I actually made the tomato soup mistake a year ago. I only drank one sip and threw it in the sink because I remembered.

P.P.S. When I was there it was a very mild stuning moment. I walked by and smiled.

P.P.P.S

I have to put a disclaimer: I like women. A specific woman since I heard her song on radio in Bulgaria and saw her face on a blue cover. However when men speak to eachother, just like when women speak to eachother: We make progress in the world.
